Only today I realised…..

…..the relationship between my two artworks recently exhibited is 「豬腳薑」,“Pig’s trotter with ginger”. It is a traditional Cantonese dish, especially popular during postpartum recovery. It’s more than just food, it’s a cultural symbol representing nourishment, warmth, and replenishment of energy and blood. It’s commonly used to help women regain strength after childbirth. It’s cooking pig’s trotter (L: butcher) in sweet vinegar (R: a famous brand who makes sweet vinegar).
